Group tours are based on the availability of our University Ambassadors and allow large groups of students of all ages (typically 10 or more) to see the beautiful UNC Asheville campus. Group tours are a great way to encourage students to seek out learning and higher level education. Please plan on at least 2 hours for both the information session and the tour.
Middle school groups - For a more in depth experience, please consider taking part in UNC Asheville's Explore the Tour program, offered through the Office for School and Community Outreach Programs and Partnerships.
NOTE - Please allow at least 2 weeks notice to plan your group tour, and if you must make any changes, please notify us as soon as possible. In addition, if you have a group larger than 75, the best days and times will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at Noon, as that is during the University's free period, so there will be the maximum number of Student Ambassadors available for the tour.
Group tour availability for Spring 2014 will begin on Monday, January 13 and end on Monday, April 28. In addition, we will not be offering tours of any kind on the following dates:
- Monday, January 20 - Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday
- Monday, March 10 through Friday, March 14 - Spring Break
- Friday, March 28 - On Campus Event
- Wednesday, April 2 - On Campus Event
- Friday, April 4 - On Campus Event
- Friday, April 11 - On Campus Event
