Falling for Campus
Open House Offers Best Views of Bulldog Life
It’s almost prime leaf season at UNC Asheville – the perfect time to visit campus. With Open Houses scheduled for the fall, prospective students can learn more about the academic departments and campus organizations that make our university unique. Sit in on a class, talk with students and professors, and learn more about the campus community and the surrounding area of Asheville and Western North Carolina.
Take a campus tour, visit a residence hall, and discover a day-in-the life of a Bulldog by attending Open House on Saturday, September 28 or November 9. Registration and more information are available from the Admissions Office.
Please note that on September 28, the Asheville Citizen-Times Half-Marathon will be happening in North Asheville. Edgewood Road from Barnard Avenue to the UNC Asheville traffic circle on W.T. Weaver Boulevard will be closed from around 6-9 a.m. The race will continue on the Glenn’s Creek Greenway and W.T. Weaver Boulevard to Broadway Street and continue towards downtown. There will be traffic delays and road closures throughout North Asheville and downtown all morning.
Because of this, we ask that you please access campus for the September 28 Open House from I-26 and Campus Drive. You can find a campus map showing these locations here.
