An opportunity to see the campus of UNC Asheville through the eyes of a current student. The tour route consists of academic buildings, Ramsey Library, Health and Fitness Center, Highsmith Student Union, Dining Hall and a residence hall and room. Your visit will consist of an information session, followed by a walking tour of campus and will last approximately two hours.
Because space is limited, we ask that you please register for your tour ahead of time. Click here to create your MyUNCAsheville account and register for your tour online.
Please note: It is very important that the student register for this account and use the same email address he/she would use on the application, as this is the same account he/she will use to track the application status.
After you register for your tour, you will receive a confirmation email that will include directions to campus as well as your parking pass. It will also include the location to meet to begin your information session/tour. Please be sure to print this email for your records.
A few notes regarding tour cancellations:
- Tours will only be cancelled if the University cancels classes, and the campus is closed.
In the event that happens, we will post a message on the main Admissions web page, as well as this page.
Even if tours are not cancelled, there are times when it is still bitterly cold. Please be sure to check the Asheville weather forecast, and bundle up appropriately.
